Speaker: Janelle Curtis, Programs and Development Director at RoboNation. Topic: Pathways of hands-on educational experiences that empower students to find innovative solutions to global challenges. Bio: In her role at RoboNation, Janelle gets to work with companies, organizations and tech enthusiasts to support our next generation of leaders. Prior to joining RoboNation, Janelle was the VP of Programs at the Biotechnology Institute where she grew several K-12, post-doc and workforce training activities from local initiatives to international programs. Janelle graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in biochemistry. Her formal science education provided a solid technical foundation on which she has built a breadth of experience and knowledge in bioscience, engineering and STEM education. Janelle and her rocket science husband reside with their family in sunny southern California where you will find them enjoying the outdoors, for work and play.
